Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working with a real estate developer and will be responsible for ensuring timely collections, handling client queries, issuing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. Strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage a high volume of transactions are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make payment reminder calls to clients to ensure timely collections.
  • Send follow-up emails and formal notices for outstanding payments.
  • Handle client queries and provide prompt, professional assistance regarding invoices and account status.
  • Issue accurate invoices, receipts, and credit notes in a timely manner.
  • Generate and maintain aging reports and share regular collection updates with management.
  • Coordinate with sales, property management, and finance teams to resolve billing or account discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update customer records and payment history accurately in the accounting system.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts receivable.
  • Recommend improvements to streamline the accounts receivable process and enhance collection efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, specifically within a real estate developer.
  • Solid understanding of invoicing, collections, and client account management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books) is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
