Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tests on marine engines and electrical systems to assess performance.
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs of boat engines and electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and engine issues, determining the best course of action for repairs.
  • Replace worn-out, damaged, or broken engine parts and components.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a marine electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of marine engine systems, electrical auxiliary systems, and boat steering systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with marine electrical codes and safety standards.
