Barista

Job Summary:The Barista and florist is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, has a friendly and positive attitude, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation:
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and other beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment.
• Stay updated on menu offerings and promotions.
• Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections.
• Take accurate orders and handle transactions efficiently.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Workspace Maintenance:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas.
• Restock inventory, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in training new baristas as needed.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to the manager.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and equipment cleaning.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Experience:
