We are seeking a skilled and passionate pet groomer with a love for small animals to join our mobile grooming team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality grooming services to ensure pets are clean, well-groomed, and comfortable.
Key duties include bathing pets of various sizes and temperaments, trimming or shaving fur, removing mats and tangles, and maintaining grooming tools and equipment in proper condition.
This is a full-time role, working 6 days a week, 9 hours per day. In addition to grooming, the candidate will also be expected to support other operational areas as previously outlined.
Perform grooming services including dematting, detangling, bathing, conditioning, drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
Style and groom pets according to owner preferences or standard grooming practices.
Ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process.
Identify and report potential health concerns such as skin conditions, ear infections, or dental issues to pet owners.
Handle and accommodate special grooming requests from clients with care and attention.
Recommend appropriate grooming products based on pets needs.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the grooming area at all times.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented work environment.
Provide assistance in other areas of the business when required, including retail, clinic, physiotherapy, daycare, and pet taxi services.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 4 years of grooming experience preferred; skilled candidates with less experience may also be considered.
