Key Responsibilities
- Media Strategy and Planning
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand client objectives, target audiences, and campaign goals.
- Develop comprehensive media plans across multiple channels (digital, print, outdoor, radio, TV) that align with client objectives and target audience profiles.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify the most effective platforms and media channels for the UAE region.
- Media Buying and Negotiation
- Negotiated media rates with vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and added value for campaigns.
- Purchasing advertising space and time across media platforms, securing placements that align with the media strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media vendors, publishers, and advertising networks in the UAE.
- Campaign Management and Optimization
- Monitor ongoing media campaigns to ensure they meet KPIs, adjusting strategies and budgets as necessary to improve performance.
- Analyze media performance data, tracking campaign effectiveness in real-time and providing recommendations for optimization.
- Work closely with digital teams to optimize online media buying, including PPC, display ads, social media ads, and programmatic campaigns.
- Budget Management
- Manage and allocate media budgets, ensuring campaigns are delivered within budget while maximizing ROI.
- Tracked media spending and provided regular reports on budget utilization and campaign performance.
- Ensured all media invoices were accurate, coordinating with the finance team for timely payment processing.
- Reporting and Analytics
- Prepare post-campaign reports that highlight key performance metrics, including reach, impressions, clicks, and conversion rates.
- Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of each media channel and recommend improvements for future campaigns.
- Present performance reports and insights to clients, providing strategic recommendations for upcoming campaigns.
- Market Trends and Insights
- Stay updated on the latest media trends, technologies, and consumer behaviors in the UAE market.
- Research and recommend new media channels and advertising opportunities to keep clients ahead of industry trends.
- Analyze competitor campaigns to identify opportunities for improvement or differentiation.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in media buying, with a focus on the UAE market.
- Experience working in a marketing or advertising agency is highly preferred.
- Proven expertise in negotiating and purchasing media across various platforms, including digital, print, outdoor, radio, and TV.
- Skills
- Strong knowledge of the UAE media landscape, including local media vendors, pricing structures, and media consumption trends.
- Proficiency in media planning and buying tools, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, DSPs (Demand-Side Platforms), and traditional media buying platforms.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience securing favorable deals with media vendors.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, measure performance, and optimize media strategies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex media concepts to clients and internal teams.
- Attention to detail, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with programmatic buying and campaign optimization.
- Familiarity with the latest advertising technologies and platforms.
- Experience working with luxury, retail, real estate, or hospitality clients in the UAE.
